Jereh and OGDCL signed an EPC contract on Nashpa compression project

The whole project was open for foreign tender since March, 2018. Relying on its capabilities on equipment manufacture, technical service and turn-key engineering, Jereh won the bid and signed the EPC contact this year, providing 4 engine-driven reciprocating compressors, auxiliary equipment as well as civil engineering.

OGDCL is the largest exploration and production listed company of Pakistan, providing more than 26% of the nation’s natural gas. Its business covers exploration, petroserv, reservoir management, process & plants, production and commercial. Although Pakistan has a decent amount of natural gas reserve, the insufficient supply of natural gas fails to keep up with huge consumption demand, which hinders its economic development.

The project is expected to restore production capability of oil & gas fields caused by pressure depletion, and guarantee stable recovery of LPG. The total capacity is projected to reach 98.48 MMSCFD.

Jereh entered Pakistan market in 2011 and offered compressors, natural gas treatment service as well as gas booster station construction. The quality products and service have helped the local oil & gas production and supply, and also facilitated Belt and Road Initiative’s role in global trade and cooperation.
