Kazakhstan Imported Chinese Hydrogen Compressor Packages for the First time

Recently, a batch of China-made hydrogen compressor packages have been officially delivered to Kazakhstan. It is the first time for Kazakhstan to adopt Chinese hydrogen compressor packages for local operation. Produced and packaged by Jereh Group, they are able to power the refining process of two types of gases simultaneously, which will facilitate the development of local refinery industry.

Hydrogen compressor packages can help realize efficient end use of gas through purification and compression, which are vital to the production of premium gasoline. Breaking technical barriers, Jereh-made hydrogen compressor packages have earned trust and acknowledgment in Kazakhstan.

The R&D process was undertaken in a strict explosion-proof environment, as hydrogen is a flammable and explosive substance. Leveraging years of packaging and manufacturing experience, Jereh Group adopts advanced metering devices that are explosion-proof and puts extra focus on designing internal layout. As a result, vibration of the whole package is controlled under 8mm/s, much lower than its counterparts. Meanwhile, base of the equipment was made from special materials, allowing itself to work at -46℃. Integrated all these features, Jereh hydrogen compressor packages can run in a constant and steady manner, which guarantees the entire project and following operation. Besides Kazakhstan, Jereh hydrogen compressor packages have also been approved by CU-TR, able to access Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia market.

Usually, this kind of equipment has rigorous requirements on techniques. If there was a breakdown, the catalyzer would be wasted, increasing cost dramatically. Jereh hydrogen compressor packages were successfully started and ran during the very first commissioning in 2018. Currently, the equipment is working ceaselessly in Kazakhstan for stimulation operation and has gained remarkable results.

As Belt & Road Initiative keeps promoting cross-country cooperation, Kazakhstan and other countries along the road will further partnership with Chinese companies to co-develop local oil & gas industry and regional economy in the future.
