On June, 2015, Jereh’s “Networked Collaborative Manufacturing of Offshore Oil and Gas Equipment” project was approved and listed in “ China Intelligent Manufacturing Special Project in 2015” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), of which 93 other companies like Qingdao Haier, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry, CHINT TBEA and Hisense were also chosen. The recognition encourages Jereh’s transition into an innovative manufacturer with independent technology which is highly required in Chinese version of “Industry 4.0”from “Made in China” to “Created in China” and to “intelligent manufacturing in China”.

This project is co-constructed by Jereh Group and Shenyang Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is expected to make the manufacturing process more transparent, effective with higher flexibility and traceability through the complete Information Management System. And the good result will be that, production efficiency is increased by 30%, operation cost goes down by 20%, and producing period is 20% shorter and energy utilization rate 12% higher.

Premier Li Keqiang, said in his Government Work Report, “We will implement the “Made in China 2025” strategy and redouble our efforts to upgrade China from a manufacturing of quantity to one of quality.” Jereh responds quickly to the national strategy to achieve the new industrial revolution and is doing well in equipment intellectualization. It is believed that with more innovative and independent technology, China will move up the global industry chain fast to the goal of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China”.
