Employee Volunteerism— Love for SOS Children’s Village Yantai, China

June 28, 2014, Jereh people volunteered and donated 7360 loving materials and ¥10,000 financial aids for Yantai SOS children’s village to help the kids and SOS mothers. Founded in Austria by Hermann Gmeiner in 1949, SOS children’s villages is a global non-governmental social development organization, , to help children in need. 

 

At Jereh, devoting time and resources to charitable causes is deep in our corporate culture since the company is founded in 1999. Jereh strives to contribute more to the community and the world, such as Spring Bud Program to support girls’ education, Jereh scholarship for young industry talents, Jereh Charitable Funds for the olds, or activities on environment protecting, poverty and disaster relieving, etc.  This June,Jereh participated in UN Global Compact, continuing its commitment in human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. And Jereh will do more.

 

In the long term, Jereh actively joints socially useful activities, shoulders enterprise social responsibility and sets up many social public activities. For example, jereh establishes JEREH scholarship in many universities joints Spring Buds Program JEREH enters Global compact in 2014 and will contribute more strength in the path of performing social responsibilities.
