Jereh Compressor Packages Engaged in Kazakhstan Oilfield Development

Following in the order of 6 sets high power compressor packages, Jereh Group won another big order of 10 sets compressor packages from CNPC Kazakhstan in mid-May. Totally 16 sets of the KZ project will be used for associated gas recovery, wet gas injection and wet gas lifting. These operations will solve the gas flaring issues to protect environment and improve the oilfield production as well.

Kazakhstan is one of the earliest foreign countries for CNPC to conduct oil and gas business and the major oil production base of CNPC in Central Asia. It is also the source place where China-Kazakhstan crude oil pipeline originates.

Jereh has been engaged in packaging compression units for natural gas transportation business since 2004 and was approved as qualified vendor to support CNPC Kazakhstan gas lifting projects last year. The first 6 sets of electric driven compressor packages will be delivered to the jobsite by the end of this May. Before the delivery, Jereh won another 10 sets order including 4 sets motor driven and 6 sets electric driven compressor packages. Among the 16 sets, the largest package uses Ariel KBZ/KBU series compressor achieving nearly 5,000kW power for a single set. It is the largest natural gas compressor package with the highest power exported from China. This project further enhanced Jereh’s leading position as China’s largest packager to package imported compressors.
