On February 1, 2009, in the conference of economy section held by Yantai Laishan District, Yantai Laishan Party Committee of CCP and Yantai Laishan Municipal Government awarded the enterprises and individuals that made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Laishan District in 2008. The conference awarded the prize of Economy Achievement to legal representative of Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group Co. LTD and other 24 enterprises, as one of the awarded enterprises, Mr.Sun Weijie, the Board Chairman of Jereh Group, ranked the first to make the speech for Jereh’s recent developing strategy and the goal with the great ambition to make “Century Jereh”. This was the second time for Board Chairman Mr.Sun Weijie to gain the laurel since 2007. Meanwhile the conference awarded the enterprises that were ratified by central government, or Province, or City Engineering Technology Centers. Yantai Jereh Petroleum Equipment & Technologies Co.,Ltd. gained the award by Laishan Party Committee and Laishan Municipal Government as one of the two Engineering Technology Centers in Shandong province.
